How Does Carpet and Fabric Stain Protector Works?
Carpet and fabric stain protector is a fluoro chemical product specially developed to protect carpets from liquid stains and dry soil by forming an invisible barrier around each carpet fibre. This helps prevent dirt and stains from being ground into or absorbed by the fibres, enabling most spills to be removed before staining and wicking occurs. This can be a big problem on light coloured wool carpets. Dirt and stains cling to untreated carpets and quickly become embedded in the fibres. Protectors help prevent this, making carpets & upholstery easier to care for.
How to Maintain the Protector-Treated Carpet or Upholstery:
Vacuum carpet and upholstery regularly to remove dry soiling.
If spillages occur, remove them immediately by obsorbing onto cloth or paper towelling.
Rinse with water and blot Dry.
Remove stains with Wally’s spot stain remover – Stain Away.
Clean the carpet by hot water extraction if it becomes soiled over a long period of time.
The Australian standard State: Carpets should be professionally cleaned every 6-12 months, to prolong it’s lifespan and reduce wear and tear
Wear and tear will slowly remove the PROTECTOR from the fibres, so it will need to be re-applied regulary.
